For Sunday: “Dear, If You Change” by John Dowland (1597)

john dowland

This song, first published in 1597, is (I think) one of the most beautiful ever written: John Dowland’s “Dear, If You Change.”

Enjoy.

Loren, I loved that. It is truly beautiful. Thank you. You are half-way through your difficult day as I write this. Good luck with it.

    • It turned out not so difficult at all. The radiation was very quick – 20 minutes – and the chemotherapy lasted only about three hours, entirely of me sitting in a comfortable chair. No side effects yet, thank goodness. Thanks for your good thoughts.
